The most asked questions about documentary wedding photography and being a wedding photographer New York

  • Are you insured?

Yes, I carry both professional and general liability insurance, and can provide any documentation that may be required by your venue.

  • Do you only work in New York City?

Though I am based in NYC, I’ll happily travel by car or plane anywhere in the United States, continental or otherwise.

  • Will you take group shots, too?

Yes, of course. I understand that often there is a desire for several traditional group photos, and we can definitely do that. I encourage you to keep them to a minimum; ideally no more than five, which we can do quickly and with a minimum of inconvenience to your guests. Should your wedding be of a size or style that will require more than just a few formal photographs, I can arrange for a second shooter to be on hand to cover that aspect of your day, allowing me to focus on the documentary story-telling shots for which you’ve hired me.

  • Do you shoot in both color and black & white?

Yes. I primarily shoot in black and white, but there is always the option to receive your wedding pictures in both black and white and color.
