Weddings are the full human experience condensed into a few hours; the emotions, the relationships, the drama, the theater, the beauty. My part in it is not to direct the action, but to document it however it unfolds, capturing the essence of the day as honestly and completely as possible.
Chance encounters; people you meet by accident because of where you chose to walk, or sit or stand; because of the place you chose to eat, or shop.
For me these are often the richest moments of any day, when I speak to someone - for a few seconds or a few minutes - then ask to make a picture of them. Such encounters, one human to another, no matter how brief - that’s the real stuff of life.
Some people say you shouldn’t include personal work on your professional site, but for me it’s all one. My professional work and my personal images are all part of who I am, and if you are deciding whether or not you’d like me to be a part of an important event in your life, then seeing some of my favorite personal images might just help you in that decision. This gives you a glimpse into my world through my eyes. I hope you like what you see.
