Beach Wedding Photography
in Brooklyn
A story told through natural moments and honest connection.
There is something deeply special about exchanging vows by the ocean, with the sound of waves and the presence of loved ones surrounding you. A beach wedding invites calm, joy, and connection into every moment of the day. From the soft breeze to the golden reflections on the water, each detail adds depth and beauty to your celebration. These moments deserve to be captured as they naturally appear.
My focus is on photographing real experiences as they happen, allowing your day to unfold without interruption. I look for the subtle glances, shared laughter, and meaningful details that define your wedding story. Through a documentary approach, I create images that feel immersive and true to the moment. If this resonates with your vision, I would love to talk further. My Approach to Documentary-Style Wedding Photography
Your wedding day is a collection of moments that deserve to be captured just as they happen. Through documentary-style photography, your story is told with honesty and intention. Years of experience have taught me how to recognize the small but powerful interactions that carry the most meaning. I work calmly in the background, giving you the freedom to fully experience your day while every detail is thoughtfully preserved.
Your wedding photos should feel as real and personal as your Brooklyn celebration itself. Many couples tell me that having me there creates a sense of ease, allowing them to relax and enjoy every moment as it happens. I follow the natural flow of the day, embracing its creativity, warmth, and authenticity, so you can focus on each other while I document the story honestly. Photographing only a select number of weddings each year allows me to give every Brooklyn couple the care their day deserves.

Frequently Asked Questions

Documentary wedding photography is rooted in presence and awareness rather than control. Instead of directing or arranging moments, I focus on noticing what is already happening and preserving it honestly. Your photographs should feel like a reflection of your lived experience, full of warmth, movement, and connection. No matter the setting of your wedding, the story unfolds through real interactions, from the stillness before the ceremony to the joy carried through the celebration. My role is to stay attentive and grounded while documenting those moments as they emerge.

Your wedding day is shaped by moments that cannot be recreated or planned. While posed portraits have their place, the images that resonate most strongly are often the candid ones captured as the day naturally unfolds. Documentary wedding photography focuses on honoring this flow, preserving emotion, light, and atmosphere as they appear. From ceremonial moments to the subtle presence of nature around you, your photos are crafted to reflect who you are and to remain meaningful for years to come.

Your wedding is not something that needs instruction or performance. It is a real experience made up of meaningful moments that happen naturally. To get started, simply share your wedding date along with where your celebration will take place so I can check my availability. Once confirmed, we can arrange a conversation by phone, video chat, or in person to discuss your plans and ensure we are a great fit. A two hundred dollar non refundable deposit is required to secure your date. The balance is due no later than one month prior to the wedding. If your wedding is planned within less than one month of booking, payment in full is required at the time of confirmation.

Most couples receive their completed gallery within four to six weeks following the wedding. This editing period allows me to carefully curate and refine each image so your collection feels intentional and emotionally complete.
