LGBTQ Weddings

I’ll be honest, at first I felt weird about doing a separate section on LGBTQ weddings, because as Lin Manuel so aptly put it, “Love, is love, is love,” and I thought, why should I make a separate thing out of something that should be universally accepted?

But then several of the couples I’ve worked with said, “No, you definitely should advertise that you are LGBTQ friendly, because not everyone is.” Which, while both shocking and disappointing, should, I suppose, not be surprising.

My approach to an LGBTQ wedding is the same as my approach to every wedding I shoot. I’m there to capture your day as it happens, however it happens, in genuine, authentic photos that hopefully you’ll treasure forever.

I want your day to be uniquely yours, and I’ll never try to direct, interfere or impose my own ideas of what something should look like. You do you, and I’ll be there to capture it!
