LGBTQ Weddings in Connecticut
Showcasing the honest connections that define your wedding day.
“Love, is love, is love,” as Lin Manual so aptly put it. When I first considered highlighting LGBTQ weddings separately, it felt unnecessary and even a bit strange. Love should be celebrated without conditions or qualifications.
That feeling shifted after honest conversations with couples I had photographed. They told me, “No, you definitely should advertise that you are LGBTQ friendly, because not everyone is.” Their insight was eye opening and difficult to ignore.
As unfortunate as that reality is, it underscores why visibility and affirmation still matter. Many couples are seeking reassurance that their love will be respected and celebrated exactly as it is.
My approach to LGBTQ weddings in Connecticut remains the same as with every wedding I shoot. I focus on capturing your day as it naturally happens, creating genuine images filled with emotion, connection, and lasting meaning.
My Approach
to Documentary-Style
Wedding Photography
Your wedding day is a lived experience, not a photoshoot. As a documentary-style wedding photographer, I do not guide events or influence how moments unfold. I believe that authenticity creates the most powerful images, and that happens when couples are free to be themselves.
I focus on capturing what is real rather than arranging poses, so your photos reflect the emotions and atmosphere of the day. Many couples share that my quiet, calming presence allows them to stay connected and present. When you look back at your photos, my hope is that they bring back not just memories, but feelings as well.
Real Photos That Tell Your Authentic Wedding Story
Each wedding day moves to its own rhythm, guided by emotion, connection, and the unique atmosphere created by the people involved. The galleries below reveal those experiences through genuine moments, unfiltered emotion, and the natural flow of the celebration as it truly happened.
