LGBTQ Weddings in the Upper East Side
Honoring the genuine emotions that unfold on your wedding day.
“Love, is love, is love,” as Lin Manual so aptly put it. At first, creating a separate section for LGBTQ weddings felt unnecessary. Love should not need to be explained or singled out, because it deserves acceptance without conditions.
That belief was challenged after several couples shared their experiences with me. They said, “No, you definitely should advertise that you are LGBTQ friendly, because not everyone is.” Their honesty was both surprising and deeply sobering.
While it is disappointing that this kind of reassurance is still needed, it is also an important reminder. Many couples are looking not just for a photographer, but for someone who truly respects and affirms who they are.
My approach to LGBTQ weddings in the Upper East Side mirrors my approach to every wedding I photograph. I focus on telling your story as it naturally unfolds, creating genuine, heartfelt images that reflect your connection and become lasting keepsakes.
My Approach
to Documentary-Style
Wedding Photography
Your wedding day is yours to experience fully and without interruption. As a documentary-style photographer, I never impose my own ideas or expectations on how your day should unfold. I believe the best storytelling happens when couples are free to move, feel, and celebrate without direction or pressure.
I prioritize real moments over posed ones, capturing the emotions, energy, and subtle interactions that make your day unique. Couples often share that my calm demeanor helps them feel comfortable and present. My hope is that when you revisit your photos, they allow you to remember the day as it truly was, not just how it looked.Real Photos That Tell Your Authentic Wedding Story
Each wedding has a distinct energy that cannot be replicated or planned. The galleries below capture pieces of those days through unscripted moments, emotional exchanges, and the natural movement of events as they happened in real time.
