Micro Wedding Photography in the Upper East Side
Freezing the laughter, tears, and joy that define your wedding day.
Micro weddings on the Upper East Side bring together elegance and intimacy, whether in a private apartment, a garden terrace, or a favorite neighborhood restaurant. Each location carries its own charm and story. If you’re planning a small celebration and appreciate photographs that reveal the real mood of your wedding, I’d love to connect.
As a documentary photographer, I remain discreet and observant, allowing each moment to develop naturally. At a more intimate gathering, it’s essential to have a photographer who respects the flow of the day. My approach ensures the focus stays on you, your ceremony, and the people who mean the most.
My Approach
to Documentary-Style
Wedding Photography
The essence of documentary wedding photography lies in capturing moments as they naturally unfold, which is why it works so beautifully for micro weddings. Smaller celebrations highlight the real emotions of the day; the laughter, happy tears, and unspoken connections that make your story so special.
I approach each wedding day with calm energy and sensitivity, allowing events to flow freely without direction. My goal is to create photographs that reflect the true feeling of your celebration: natural, unposed, and emotionally rich. Many couples find that this approach helps them stay relaxed, focused on one another, and fully present in each moment.
Every micro wedding carries its own rhythm, and I move in step with it, whether the atmosphere is joyful and lively or intimate and reflective. I also limit the number of weddings I accept each year to ensure that each couple receives the attention, care, and thoughtful storytelling that their day deserves.
Honest Photos That Tell Your Unique Wedding Story
Aside from micro weddings, I love documenting all types of celebrations, from grand affairs to quiet gatherings in stunning locations. The galleries below showcase a few of the weddings I’ve had the pleasure of photographing throughout my career.

The most meaningful wedding photos are often not the posed portraits but the authentic moments that reflect the true atmosphere of your day. Using a documentary style, I capture the natural rhythm of your celebration, whether it’s the warmth of a candlelit dinner, the laughter of your guests, or the glow of sunset over the Upper East Side. Each couple has their own story, and this approach preserves those intimate, genuine memories that you’ll look back on with lasting affection.
