LGBTQ Weddings in the Upper West Side

Honoring the genuine emotions that unfold on your wedding day.

“Love, is love, is love,” as Lin Manual so aptly put it. When the idea of separating LGBTQ weddings into their own section first crossed my mind, it felt uncomfortable. Love should be universal, without labels or limitations, and worthy of celebration in every form.
That feeling changed after hearing directly from couples I had worked with. More than once, I was told, “No, you definitely should advertise that you are LGBTQ friendly, because not everyone is.” It was eye opening and difficult to hear, yet deeply honest.
As discouraging as that truth may be, it reinforced why clarity and openness still matter. Feeling genuinely welcomed is not something every couple has experienced, and that understanding shapes how they choose the people they trust with their wedding day.
When I photograph LGBTQ weddings in the Upper West Side, I bring the same intention and care I bring to every celebration. I document your day as it happens, capturing real moments, real emotions, and authentic images that honor your love and preserve it forever.

My Approach
to Documentary-Style
Wedding Photography

Your wedding day is personal and one of a kind. My approach as a documentary-style wedding photographer is rooted in observation rather than direction. I do not interfere with moments or attempt to reshape them. I trust that your day already holds everything it needs to be meaningful, beautiful, and unforgettable.
By focusing on authentic moments instead of poses, your photos reflect the genuine love and connection you shared. Many couples tell me that my presence feels steady and reassuring, allowing them to relax and enjoy the experience together. When you look through your gallery, I want the images to feel like memories brought to life, exactly as you lived them.

Real Photos That Tell Your Authentic Wedding Story

Every wedding tells its story in its own way, guided by atmosphere, connection, and timing. What you will find in the galleries below are real glimpses into those celebrations, from quiet moments to joyful ones, all documented as the day progressed naturally.
