Genuine, unposed photos that tell your story.
My Approach to Natural Wedding Photography in New Jersey
Documentary wedding photography is about capturing your wedding in its most authentic form. For couples celebrating a New Jersey wedding, I specialize in preserving the spontaneous moments and genuine emotions that make your day memorable. From joyful laughter to quiet, intimate exchanges, I photograph your wedding with a calm, steady presence that keeps the focus on your real experience.
Your wedding photos should tell the story of your day as it truly happened. Couples often express that my approach helps them remain fully present, letting them enjoy each moment while I document the celebration seamlessly. I adapt to the pace of your New Jersey wedding, whether lively and festive or quiet and reflective, ensuring every meaningful moment is captured. By accepting only 12 to 15 weddings annually, I dedicate my time and attention to making your wedding memories last a lifetime.
Some Styles of Weddings I Photograph
Whichever type of wedding you’re planning, I’ll photograph it. I love documenting weddings of every style, and each celebration brings its own story. Below are just a few examples of the many weddings I’ve photographed.
City Hall & Elopement Weddings
Spontaneous, stylish, and stress-free weddings captured with authenticity and care. From quick courthouse vows to intimate city strolls, I document the joy and energy of your day in a natural, candid way.
Beach Weddings
A calm approach that lets the shoreline set the scene. I focus on the genuine moments unfolding throughout your special day—the light shifting over the water, laughter carried on the wind, and the connection between you and your loved ones with the ocean as the backdrop.
LGBTQ+ Weddings
An inclusive and affirming approach to celebrating all love stories with heart and honesty. I create a space where you feel seen, supported, and free to express your love exactly as it is.
Jewish Wedding Photography
Sensitive to the cultural nuances and rituals that make each celebration meaningful. From the ketubah signing to the hora, I honor every tradition while capturing the emotion and connection at the heart of it all.

Each couple brings their own character and story to their wedding, and the photographs that resonate most are often the unposed, candid moments that occur without any direction. Yes. My focus is on documenting your wedding as it naturally happens, but I also include some group photographs to meet traditional expectations. Your wedding day is full of fleeting, meaningful moments that should be captured naturally without direction. My responsibility as your photographer is to witness and record these unscripted moments rather than stage them. I do not give instructions or create poses; I focus on documenting your wedding as it truly unfolds. This approach allows you to feel completely present and free from any performance. The intention is for you to devote your energy to enjoying your celebration and your loved ones while I quietly preserve every authentic memory.

To book your wedding, the best first step is to provide me with your wedding date and location so I can determine if I am available. Once that is confirmed, we can discuss your plans either over the phone, via video chat, or in person. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to hold the date, and the remaining balance must be paid no later than one month prior to your wedding. If your wedding is scheduled less than one month away, the full payment will be required at the time of booking.
-
The editing process varies slightly depending on the size of the wedding and the number of photographs, but it generally takes around four to six weeks to complete. This period allows me to dedicate proper time to refine every image and present a cohesive and beautiful gallery. Once the edits are complete, you will be given access to an online gallery featuring all of the finalized images so that you can relive your wedding day and share it with your loved ones.
